The Next Steps

Thank you all for making our project a reality!! With the campaign successfully funded, it's time to discuss what will be taking place over the next couple of weeks and on into the future as we continue development.
Here's a quick rundown:
First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to begin development (this can take up to two weeks).
Second, we need to send out surveys to all of our backers so that we can begin processing rewards. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information.
We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)
If you prefer, you can contact me directly and give me your information, but answering your survey helps us get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge rewards.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.
Again, thanks for all your support. We can’t wait to send out all the wonderful goodies and start this new chapter of Faenaria!
The End is Nigh!

Well, the end of the Kickstarter that is! With only 2 hours left to go before the deadline, I'm writing one last time to urge everyone to get any last minute pledges in before the deadline.
Now that the campaign is reaching its close, the team and I are setting our sights on the future. We will begin working on the back end makeover of Faenaria in the following weeks and will continue development of the RPG system. Those are our two main goals right now.
Rewards will be sent out over the next few weeks, though pets may be delayed a bit longer as that system is not functional at present and is set to be released as part of the back end revamp. This also gives Ryou time to complete the Kudo and Kessho as well as finish the baby stages of the Nian and Crane.
While we didn't reach all of our stretch goals, we have not given up on providing these systems in the future. They are simply taking a back seat until the more critical upgrades are complete.

Kessho and Kudo Unlocked

This update is far overdue and for that I apologize! I'm pleased to announce that we reached our first two stretch goals and unlocked the Kessho and Kudo. These pets are not Kickstarter Exclusive, but are being offered at a discounted price of $5 instead of their usual $10.If you pledged $25 or more you will receive one of each adult and baby stage among your other rewards. In addition they are also available as add-ons so you can stock up on as many as you want.
On a personal note, I threw out my back last week and it has steadily worsened to the point that I can't sit up for long, which is why I have not been posting more frequent updates! I'm undergoing treatments and hoping to be back up to full speed in the next few days. In the meantime I'm on my phone frequently so please reach out if you have any questions!
Stretch Goal: The Kessho

Now that we have reached our primary goal, we can turn our sights to the fantastic stretch goals we have lined up! Our first stretch goal is the Kessho.
A fierce hunter of Faenaria's coldest mountain regions, the Kessho is as efficient as he is cunning. Their shaggy coats insulate them against the frigid climate that they call home. The crystals that adorn their bodies are unique to each Kessho. The crystals give off magic based frequencies that are used for communication between clan-mates while hunting.
We are only $20 away from unlocking the Kessho as a reward for every backer who has pledged $25 or more! In addition, it will become an add-on item at a discounted price to allow backers to stock up on these deadly beauties!

100% Funded - Time to Celebrate!

The title says it all! We have officially reached our funding goal of $900! Whoohooo!! When I saw that earlier this evening I did a little happy dance when nobody was looking. It feels so amazing to have reached our goal and now I can't wait to make these much needed, wonderful changes to Faenaria.
Most of all I am feeling incredibly grateful! Faenaria wouldn't be what it is today or be able to take the next steps in its evolution, if it weren't for our amazing fans. All of you have made this possible and I look forward to rewarding that faith and support with something truly fun. Thank you for hanging in with us through all the ups and downs - you are, without a doubt, a marvelous group of individuals and I can't say enough how much you all mean to me!
Alright, I'm tearing up so that's my cue to cut the sappy stuff! Thank you all again! Pat yourselves on the backs, raise a glass into the air, and rest easy knowing that together we have accomplished a good deed! <3
